K’Naan- Wavin’ Flag (World Cup Anthem)

Tyga + Lil Wayne -- I'm On It

Tyga is back with his lead single off Careless World, his debut album.
Weezy on the track always means good things for Ca$h Money.

Saturday, February 27

Yo Gotti - Loco

Ludacris -- Mindfreak & Start All Over

Luda is back with two unreleased singles.
The one w/ Criss Angel is dope, since its rap.
The other is way too much rock for my taste.
Battle Of The Sexes coming soon…...

KiD CuDi -- The Message

CuDi is back another unreleased joint.
This music is too relaxing, always finding the next level of smoothness
Cudder should be dropping towards the end of Spring, so be on the look out.

Friday, February 26

Curren$y ft. Stalley - Address

Estelle + Kardinal Offishall -- Freak

Estelle gets a little "freaky" on this joint.
David Guetta on the beat always makes for a party.
All Of Me drops this quarter.

Bobby Valentino + Nicki Minaj -- Stilettos & T-Shirt

Bobby V is back with some new RnB and a new album.
Fly On The Wall will be out this Spring, so get ready.
This may be the best we've heard from Bobby in quite some time.
Ms. Minaj is back on the track, oh boy.

Soulja Boy - Pretty Boy Swag

Thursday, February 25

T-Pain -- Reverse Cowgirl (Mastered)

This is the mastered version of Pain's second single "Reverse Cowgirl".
RevolveR drops March 30th.
NAPPPPPPY BOYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

DJ Khaled + Nelly + Lil Boosie + Ace Hood -- Bring The Money Out

Khaled comes back with a new anthem for the streets.
My suggestion, NEVER EVER include Boosie on a song if you want people to enjoy it.
Never thought I would see Nelly on this album, but DJ Khaled always has a few surprises.

Lil Wayne Already Shutting Down His Twitter

After opening is account a few days ago, Lil Wayne has decided to SHUT IT DOWN!!!!
They claims he made on Twitter as to why, can't truly be the reason.
Come on Weezy, tell us what's good.

Kanye's New Blog

After promising a new and improved website in 2010, Kanye has finally delievered.
First off the site look too sick.
I'm sure he had the best in the business, but still the way it captures your attention with the opening graphics is unreal.
Kanye, get at me on the blog roll.
A site everyone must check out.
A site which I'm sure will generate great stories, as well as controversial ones.
That's who Kanye has grown to be.

Ice Cube Will Release New Album

So Cube is bringing back his old school flow for a new album.
I Am The West will be the title and its expected to drop in July.
I can't wait, Cube always brings the dopest beats and that heavy L.A. flow.

L.A. Reid Signs Shyne To Def Jam

This is a big step in the revival of Shyne's music career. Not many artists get a 2nd chance, let alone with Def Jam. Take it for all its worth Mr. Barrow.

K'Naan -- World Cup Anthem 2010

Tuesday, February 23

Marquis Daniels Gets Custom Bling (His Head)

Via DeadSpin.

Joell Ortiz -- Nissan, Honda, Chevy

Mr. Ortiz puts in work on the "Beamer, Benz, & Bentley" track.
Definitely a nice change of pace from Banks.
Only a minute long though, where you at Joell?

Charice + Iyaz -- Pyramid

This is a HOT new RnB/pop track from Phillipino-singer, Charice.
She is only 17 and is making her U.S. debut with this single "Pyramid".
It features Iyaz, who became well-known for is single "Replay".
This song is pure vocals, along with a sick beat.
This girl can really sing and I'm sure this isn't the last we'll hear from her.
I can't see her being on such a small label for too much longer.
Someone get at her.

T.I. Appears In Public For First Time Since Release

He appeared at his fiancee's fundraiser for Alzheimer's last night and was obviously bum-rushed by the paparazzi. Interesting enough he was quoted as saying "I am very well, very happy to be seen." He is still serving the remainder of his sentence in a halfway house. Musically, T.I. has been working hard on his forthcoming album, which will hit shelves this summer. Tip also has a big-screnn appearance also coming out this summer titled Takers.

Both these rappers have similar styles with that easy listening street flow.
Wish they played at bigger venues, but the fan base isn't the same as it once was.

Fly.Union + Big Sean -- Poed Up

This isn't a new song to most, but its a gem to others.
Its off Fly.Union's Value Pack, which is dope.
The main reason I'm feeling this song is Big Sean.
The kid has raw talent.
The next BIG artist in hip-hop.

Nike Air Royal Mid Textile

Scheduled to be released this Spring.
Supposedly its called "textile" is because of the quality of the sneaker material.
Better quality = more $$$…..not in this WORLD

Via flylyf.

Tony Yayo - Everywhere We Go

Ester Dean + Diddy + Trey Songz + Lil Wayne + Chris Brown -- Drop It Low (Remix)

Another big name on the "Drop It Low" remix.
I didn't even know Diddy still wrote verses.
That's what Making The Band will do to your rep.
BTW: Trey Songz KILLS it.

Kanye West - Coldest Winter

Redman Changes Album Name & Cover

As you can see Redman has put out the "official" album cover, for his next album.
He also went ahead an changed the title from Reggie Noble 9 1/2 to just plain, old Reggie.
Gotta love the smoke blow in the background.

Rick Ross ft. Chrisette Michele - Mafia Music Pt. 2

Monday, February 22

Kicks of the Day: Nike Hyperdunk Kobe Bryant (Aston Martin Edition)

Hitting stores for a limited time.
The Aston Martin hyperdunks are not only flashier, but more expensive.
Its commemorating the supposed video, of Kobe jumping over that Aston Martin.
Still the truth remains to be told.

We The Best, No We The World!!!!!!!

This was hilarious, although they could have done a little better with Dre.

Via BrokenCool.

Ludacris -- Sexting

Another joint from Battle Of The Sexes.
Not one of his best, but who wouldn't enjoy a night of "Sexting"

Via WorldWide.

Snoop Dogg + KiD CuDi -- That Tree

Another new album coming from Snoop already???
Must have stashed some tracks from the 80's.
Anyways, Cudi maks this track sick, always has that Solo Dolo state of mind.
More Malice drops March 23rd.

Via Complex.

GLC - Momentum

Sunday, February 21

Roscoe Dash & Soulja Boy - All The Way Turnt Up

Keepin That Ciroc On Ice

I had to pick up the new Ciroc flavors.
What is hip-hop without premium vodka???
Shouts to Diddy, although I'm lacking in the original flavor.
Coconut was by far the smoothest vodka I have ever tasted.
No chaser needed, no lie.

Bobby Valentino -- I Can't Get Enough

New Bobby V.
Who can't get enough???

Via HIF.

E-40 + Too $hort -- Show Me What You Workin' Wit

A new jump-off from the Bay Area Bully, E-40.
First single off Revenue Retrieving.
Too $hort gets down on this joint.

Via Dajaz.

Sean Kingston -- In The Air

Another track from Mr. Kingston.
This time he samples the Phil Collins classic "In The Air Tonight".
Keep the covers coming SK.

One Chance -- No Reggie

Definitely a smoking song, but not my favorite.
Is this a Diddy beat?
You should at least give this song One Chance.

Via YK2.

Ludacris ft. Nicki Minaj - My Chick Bad

Friday, February 19

DJ Khaled + Bun B + Birdman + Soulja Boy -- All My Chains On

Khaled is at it again.
Birdman really gets at it, with those filthy lyrics.
I'm still waiting for that smash hit that Khaled promised us.
Good enough for now……

Justin Bieber ft. Ludacris - Baby

Timbaland ft. Justin Timberlake - Carry Out

Thursday, February 18

Sean Kingston -- Hot Like The Summer

This song is certainly "hot", with that Jamaican vibe in the beat.
Supposedly will be off his next album, with J.R. all over the production.
More tracks like this is what Sean should be shooting for.

Kicks of the Day: Air Jordan 2010

They just dropped in Asia, and will be available in the U.S. shortly.
Get excited, because this is the next generation in basketball shoes.
Ask D-Wade, he helped designed them.

Freeway -- Know What I Mean

The intro to the Stimulus Package.
Its much easier to enjoy Freeway when he's got his steady flow.
NO SCREAMING!!!!!
JakeOne on the beat.

Via OnSmash.

Behind The Scenes: Young Money - Roger That

Via DerickG

Erykah Badu + Lil Wayne –- Jump Up In The Air (Stay There)

The mastered version of the new dance single, "Jump In The Air".
Supposedly this is a bonus track, but its also listed as the lead single.
Maybe its Wayne, it always is.

Via 2Dope.

Jason DerĂ¼lo -- Love Hangover

Another RnB/dance track off Jason DerĂ¼lo's debut album.
Similar style beat to that of "In My Head".
A mixture of dance/RnB tracks is the right idea.

Via WorldWide.

Wednesday, February 17

The-Dream -- Love King

Finally, the first single off Dream's final album,  LoveKing.
I didn't expect less than a RnB banger, and of course Mr. Nash didn't disappoint.
The beat isn't self produced, instead its L.O.S. Da Mystro.

Jason DerĂ¼lo -- Test Drive + Change The World

He keeps coming with the hottest RnB.
I know it gets old, but 2010 is Derulo's year.
I prefer the dance tracks he does over the RnB.

Common -- The People (Original Version)

The original version of Common's hit single "The People".
No Dwele on this version, but Lonnie puts a twist on the chorus instead.
Pretty fresh, check it.

J. Cole -- Knock On Wood Freestyle

J. Cole gets nasty over Common's "Go".
His album drops this quarter, so get excited.
After all he was once titled, Hova's "protege".

Bone Thugs N Harmony - Rebirth

Tuesday, February 16

Wu-Massacre Album Cover

Very cool comic book like theme going on.
These three are set to drop one of the top albums in 2010, and its only February.
WU-TANG, WU-TANG!!!!

Donnis -- Superman High Freestyle

Atlantic Records newest artist, Donnis spits FIRE all over R.Kelly's "Superman High".
Big future for this Atlanta Brave, watch out for Southern Comfort dropping in March.

Via 2Dope.

Snoop Dogg -- I Wanna Rock (Interstate Trafficking Remix)

Didn't see this one coming, the streets is back!!!!
One of the better remixes I've heard in awhile, maybe because its a true testament to the streets.
DJ Green Lantern absolutely killed the beat, not surprised.

Jay-Z Speaks On "New World" Album

Get excited folks, Hova is coming back with another album. It will be titled New World. I like how he mentions that his first track is "crazy" and he'll build around that. I'm sure we won't be disappointed by Mr. Carter whenever his album drops.

Chris Brown -- Go Away

Chris Brown drops some more FIRE RnB.
Guess he decided this was gonna be his week in "leak" game.
Don't expect anymore for awhile.

Wale & K'naan Announce Tour Dates

Two of hip-hops rising stars from 2009, take the stage together in 2010 for their upcoming month tour. Its disappointing that they're only performing at a few sites. Hopefully bigger shows are in Wale's future.

4/01 Boston, MA @ House of Blues*
4/02 New Haven, CT @ Toad’s Place*

Another track off Luda's Battle Of The Sexes.
This is getting a little rediculous.

Rick Ross ft. Birdman - Addicted To Money

Jason DerĂ¼lo Album Trailer

Travis Porter - Get Naked

Other tracks on the way.

Bonus Tracks of the Day:
Both confirmed to be off the debut album.
J.R. coming up big on this project.

Usher Headlines The NBA All-Star Game

Sunday, February 14

Ester Dean + Trey Songz + Lil Wayne + Chris Brown -- Drop It Low Pt. 2

All the usuals are back on the smash dance single, "Drop It Low".
All artist included have new verses which are so much hotter than before.
Weezy and Trey especially kill it on the mic.
Chris Brown somehow manages to get his name on The Illest again.
Not sure if the clubs are ready for this one.

Chris Brown -- Say Something (Bonus Track)

A hot bonus track off In My Zone.
Breezy is back, get it while its hot!

DJ Drama & Chris Brown -- In My Zone

Breezy's newest mixtape, In My Zone which is produced by the infamous DJ Drama.
One of the better tapes I've heard in awhile and its not like Chris Brown is dropping that many mixtapes.
I'm a huge fan of two particular tracks, "Bad" which features Soulja Boy and "No Bullshit" which is produced by Boi-1-da.
Although it consists mostly of freestyles over some of hip-hops hottest tracks, CB makes it work.
Look out for that Jeezy Trap or Die 2 coming soon.
