Just had to throw on 2 more tracks from the most anticipated album of 2009, Blueprint 3. Just finished listening to the entire album and it amazes me how truly talented Jay-Z is. Some people don't realize that he has been putting out albums for over 12 years. He is one of the hardest working MC's in the game and a pioneer to the industry, he helped make mainstream rap popular on most of the East Coast. Shouts to Jay-Z, you deserve all the credit Hov.

Jay-Z Does Charity

Jay-Z held a press conference on Monday (Aug. 31) to announce his “Answer the Call” charity concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 11. He was joined by wife Beyoncé, Lyor Cohen, Kevin Liles, Governor David Paterson, and Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta.

The benefit hopes to raise as much as $1 million for the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund. There may be as many as 10 other artists involved in the show. Tickets go on sale September 8 for $50.

One of the best tracks of the album. Features Jay's new project J. Cole, who brings the heat on the chorus and a small verse. It really is remarkable to Jay-Z trying to "father" a young artist, and produce an epic album at the same time. He's one of the only people who could pull it off.

Another fire track, with Jeezy leading it off with a classic ATL sounding verse. Jay proceeds to hop on the track and murder the mic as we have all been accustomed to. The style never has and never will get old. Stay true Jay.

Definitely feeling this track. The beat is vintage Jay-Z, and the way he puts all the lyrics together reminds me of most of his work on the original Blueprints. "Thank You" is simply a song just to kick back and relax to.

This is what appears to be a new single off Drake's album Thank Me Later. To be quite honest, this may be one of the sickest tracks I've heard in 2009. The way they put each artist on his on verse and kept Drake(autotuned) on the chorus as well as the intro verse. Apparently there was word of Eminem actually dissing the three other rappers in his verse. For now all we can do is speculate until Em speaks. Also heard that this song will be featured in LeBron James's upcoming documentary, More Than A Game. This is a must have song.
